Mr Le Calvez claims that Disney is in breach of copyright for his registered Pierrot the Clown Fish and that they stole his idea and character and wants disney to be banned from selling Nemo books and toysin France. He says the popularity of Nemo is stopping people from buying his stuff. however in court the judge ruled that although the two characters resembled each other they did not have enough similarities. e Calvez was ordered to pay a total of 38,000 euros in damages to Disney and Pixar Animation.
